The Ukrainian War
The war in Ukraine has been raging since February and sadly there seems no end in sight. It is heartbreaking to read the news, see the images and hear the stories coming from this war torn country. Again, feeling helpless, I decided to do something practical to do my part in some way. I have recorded a haunting Ukrainian Lullaby, entitled ОЙ ХОДИТЬ СОН КОЛО ВІКОН, translated as The Dream Passes by the Window. It breaks my heart to hear about families torn apart, families without food and children experiencing sleepless, cold nights. So many families have fled, and this number is only growing.
My hope is that if you listen to this lullaby, you may be moved to donate to one of the 4 charities I have chosen here, sending food, medical supplies, and helping refugees from Ukraine. Every amount donated, large or small, will go towards helping Ukrainians through this.
